Who We Are
Compass Ministries is a non-profit Christian organization founded in 2007 by Rusty Davidson. Compass Ministries Board of Directors and volunteers are men and women from diverse backgrounds who bring unique gifts and talents to this dynamic ministry and share in a common vision of bringing people from all ages and walks of life to Jesus Christ.
What We Do
Compass Ministries is a new grass roots concept in evangelism on Alabama’s Gulf Coast. We are committed to getting people excited about God through nautical adventure, mission work and the environment. Our goal is to reach those who may never step foot in a church but will enthusiastically step onto the deck of the 65 foot schooner Cyrus E. King. We are fishers of men, women and children. Compass Ministries is an interdenominational Christian ministry designed to reach those most in need of Jesus Christ.
